Comments: We chose this book because Jeannette Walls will speak November 19th at the University of Kansas.

Description: Winner of the National Book Award in 1958, this is a nonfiction masterpiece about the life of Sir Edward Coke.
Comments: This is a really well written book about Sir Edward Coke. He served as England's Attorney General, Speaker of the House of Commons, and Chief Justice. It is full of great anecdotes to share with your friends about life in England in the 1600s -- fascinating stuff about the legal system. A great read for those interested in law.
City of Refuge by Tom Piazza. Submitted by the West Regional Book Discussion of Luling LA

Comments: This title was selected for the "One Book, One New Orleans" reading program.
